Care About How You Feel.

My last post had an exercise suggestion to start noticing your recent and current vibration and what subjects you most need an uplift on.
Take a breath and recall those..
Those subjects can tell you a lot about what kind of vibration you’ve been practicing and where.
A lot of the time we’re on auto pilot and replaying past thoughts and beliefs over and over again, unknowingly giving them energy, keeping them alive and active, and attracting more of the same.
That’s all well and good if they’re thoughts and beliefs that serve your highest good, but not so great if they’re negative, painful, or anxiety-inducing.
Again.. this is why it’s important that we uplift our vibration so that our autopilot is on a higher level!
Those low-energy thoughts and beliefs are likely feeding some part of your ego or making you feel some false sense of control.
Well, that’s about to shift.
And it will shift.
The kicker is.. you have to genuinely want to shift.
You genuinely have to want to feel better and notice your thoughts and feelings, bringing more presence into your daily life.
A total shift will not happen overnight.
It will take practice.
It will take that exercise we’ve been talking about.
It will take minimal effort that will benefit you exponentially!
You just have to bring yourself to the present moment and notice how you feel and what thoughts have been bringing on that feeling.
Have your thoughts been putting you a little on edge?
.. pulling you into a downward spiral?
.. causing you to constantly monitor the worst-case scenarios?
.. stall you from making real change?
.. make you dread doing certain things that you need to do?
If so, it’s time to find better feeling thoughts around these subjects.
The key here is:
Find a better feeling thought that you can BELIEVE to be true that isn’t too much of a stretch for you to grasp onto.
You want to avoid too big of a gap between where your current vibration is and the vibration of the new thought that would be so big of a difference that it would seem like an impossible bridge to cross.
For a quick example.. I have always told myself that I hate cleaning floors.
But.. I absolutely love having clean floors because it feels so fresh, I know that it’s healthier for our family, and even the energy of our home feels clearer.
So now, I catch myself in my dreadful thoughts and instead practice thinking and remembering that every time I sweep and mop, I’m cleansing the energy of our home, making it look better, smell better, and it’s healthier for our entire family!
I’m not saying I’m exactly loving every second of cleaning floors now, but I am feeling a lot better about doing them and just that small shift feels amazing!
So naturally.. the next suggested exercise is to practice bridging the gap with better feeling thoughts.
Especially on those subjects that come up the most and need the most “exercise,” but really, you can practice on anything and everything that you want to shift your vibration on.
And of course, to do this, we must care enough about how we feel to practice being more present, noticing our thoughts and vibration, and make the shift.
