Enjoy the Process
Some things I’m figuring out right now:
Getting back on track with a NEW morning routine to switch it up and stay inspired
One thing about getting back on track, especially with a morning routine, is to get a really good night’s sleep the night before. It’s like hitting the reset button.
What’s better, is to have your new morning routine all planned out the night before so you can hop right into it. I’m working on my new one now.. My last routine has been pretty bomb, but I’m ready for a change for sure. I want to include writing more, and that means moving my workout to the afternoon- which is GREAT because I want to get out and get some sunshine ☀ I mean.. vitamin D is crucial and I’m for damn sure am not getting enough of it right now..
Figuring out how to not dread work
It’s almost like the “Sunday Scaries” when it gets close to my log-in time. I don’t want it to be like that at all. >>
I want to be excited to log on and start the day with enthusiasm and energy!😆⚡
Work helps me represent all the ways I’m badass at my job and can help people 💪🏼
Work is a fun way to connect, and I love being helpful to my work family 💖 I love being a light 🌻 I love to nestle in and make things happen 🙌🏼
I enjoy making things easier and easier for myself & use the contrast/feedback for clarity & improvement 😇
And.. I just remembered that dopamine stuff I just learned about from that Andrew Huberman podcast (11/16/21 post). The part about “you have to make the efforting FUN!” … That’s the key.
He’s talking about the chemical things that happen in our brain with dopamine, but that’s so key to making the journey more fun, easy, and worthwhile.
You have to make it fun! 🎉
And that kind of goes for everything, doesn’t it? - Eating good, going to bed early, doing the dishes, running errands, and yes.. even going to work :)
So.. Now I’m on a mission to make going to & being at work more fun 😊
